Local moves (within 40 miles) are priced by the hour. Pick the crew size that fits your home — more movers finish faster.
2 Movers
Best for studios, small 1-bedrooms, and smaller loading-only jobs.
3 Movers
Best for 2-bedroom apartments and small homes. Our most-booked crew size.
4 Movers
Best for 3+ bedroom homes and when you need to finish in one day.

Local Move
Within 40 miles of pickup
- Starts at $160/hr for a 2-mover crew plus $160–$250+ flat truck fee.
- Clock starts when we arrive, stops when we're done. 2-hour minimum.
Long Distance / Out of State
Over 40 miles or crossing state lines
- Includes 2–4+ movers and box truck(s) for full-service transport.
- $100–$250 deposit may be required to lock your schedule.
Full-Service Moving We handle everything.
Our most-booked service. We pack, wrap, load, transport, unload, and even unpack. You don't lift a single box — perfect for busy families, seniors, and long-distance buyers.

When is payment due and how can I pay?
Card payments include a 3.6% processing fee. Zelle is our most-used (fee-free bank transfer). Deposits only required for long-distance or packing-ahead services.
Do you charge a cancellation or rescheduling fee?
Cancel or reschedule anytime without any charges. Life happens — we get it.
Do you offer free estimates or on-site walkthroughs?
Prime Packers offers free estimates and on-site visits to assess your moving needs accurately. Virtual walkthroughs over video are also available if you're long-distance or prefer not to host.

For most local moves, no deposit is required — just a confirmation. For long-distance or larger commercial moves, we may request a deposit to secure your spot on the schedule.
What can I do to keep my move cost down?
Since we charge by the hour for local moves, being organized and ready can really reduce your total cost.
Before we arrive
- Pack everything ahead of time — boxes sealed and ready to go
- Label boxes clearly with the destination room and "fragile" tags
- Disassemble big furniture if you can — beds, tables, etc.
- Group items by room — stack boxes from the same room together
- Clear pathways — walkways, hallways, driveways
- Reserve elevators or parking in advance if needed
On moving day
- Be available to answer quick questions and direct placement
- Keep kids and pets out of the way — keeps everyone safe
- Flag heavy or fragile items early so we can prep properly
- Have payment ready at the end of the move
